Used on an International Scout This is the correct gasket for any International harvester engine 304/345 with a 2 barrel carburetor.
I recently purchased a 1970 IH Scout and had some serious trouble with flooding. I switched the carburetor (the original was not worth of rebuild, and the kit was expensive as well)--a 2300 Holley. At first I used the original "gaskets" (there were 2 of them) with the new carb. At first it worked, but then started flooding again. I replaced the carb gaskets with 1 of these, and the engine immediately ran smooth, and also much cooler.
I think a lesson one can gleen from my experience is that not all gaskets are alike. Even if they don't seem to leak vacuum, they can cause problems with gasoline seepage into the engine, which is what I think happened.
Do not buy anything other than this for an International engine with 2 bbl carburetor. If you disregard this and have problems, you have only yourself to blame.
